Seasonal Rental Only from (May 9 - Nov 1) only; We offer one night stays! Enjoy this secluded off grid (solar powered) cosy yurt, eclectic furnishings - situated in a private forest environment.
On the deck a BBQ with cooking utensils, drinking water, toilet and patio set are provided - a hot shower is available at the sauna building in Summer Season
Round out your relaxation in our Finnish Wood Fired Sauna and cold water dunking tub at (50$ per hour).
This rental unit offers a queen bed, all linens, and outdoor deck with BBQ, toilet, ice box (guests bring ice) and patio set; a fire pit is provided as well. There is an outdoor shower situated at sauna a short distance away.
I greet all guests and show them where to go and how things work - guests let host know time of arrival and are met.
I am always available but also give guests their space. I live on the premises and can assist with needs when requested.
Situated on 15 acres on a hillside overlooking Bates Landing and the Bellisle Ferry - access to public beach and boat launch. Walking or jogging - quiet country dirt road nearby, forests, farmers market below house. Nature lovers dream come true.
You will need a vehicle and there is ample parking, trucks with boat trailers welcome. Hampton 12 mins away, Elmhurst Outdoors 10 mins away, Evandale 20 mins away. 10 mins to diner "Up to Par" down the bay; Kredls 12 mins away in Hampton; Bate's landing farmers market just below house; Kingston Farmers market 15 min away; Also close to golf courses down the bay as well.

At the Bates Landing (Belleisle Ferry) turn right (Roger's Road) up the hill; At the top of hill you will see a dirt drive (Bell Hill Road) to your left, follow until you come to the "BBR Enter Sign" and you will see the "Forest Yurt Parking Sign" as you enter the Estate.

The Most Perfect Stay!
The most perfect stay if you are looking for an outdoor stay with the ability to sleep in a bed! All of the basics that you need are provided, and the bed is very comfy!! Rain or shine, you will have an excellent time. Very appreciative of the fact that you can book only 1 night too. Thank you for everything Andrew, you went above and beyond as a host!
If you are considering - do it!
If you’re considering staying here - do it. It was very peaceful and relaxing, we loved every minute of it, even despite the rainy weather! The yurt is cozy, stays nice and dry, and the bed was comfy which was a nice bonus This place is the perfect destination to enjoy nature and spend quality time with your loved one. Although we only had a quick interaction with Andrew, he was very friendly when greeting us and you could tell how much he cared about this place. My only complaint is that we couldn’t have stayed longer! We will definitely be back soon :)
Perfect Place to Relax!
The perfect place to relax in the woods, it was very peaceful and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised at how close it was to the water and the small public beach. We will definitely visit again!
Retreat of choice for us!
This was our second stay in the yurt and it is quickly becoming a retreat of choice for us. It is private, cozy and immediately relaxing. Andrew is fantastic. Very responsive, and even took good care of a hat we’d forgotten on our first stay! The sauna is divine. We can’t wait to go back soon.
